A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) allows someone you trust to make decisions about your finances, property, health, or welfare if you lose mental capacity. In some cases, people may want to add additional attorneys after the document has been created.
However, once an LPA has been registered, you generally cannot simply add another attorney. A new LPA may need to be created to reflect any changes.
