This is due to more than 30,000 flight cancellations that have led to closures of airspace around the world resulting in millions of people being affected by the chaos caused by travelling through international airports that were closed as a result of the current conflict in the Middle East.

The his crisis is also testing the resilience of an $11.7 trillion global tourism industry.
