​The Financial Services and Markets Bill has been granted Royal Assent

​The Financial Services and Markets Bill has been granted Royal Assent, and although the final version has yet to be published it's sure to mark a huge change in UK financial services regulation.

The Act enables the move to a comprehensive FSMA model by revoking retained EU financial services law and empowering UK regulators to make rules.
