Companies House new companies checks

Companies House is making a new way to check who's really behind companies to stop illegal practices!

New companies' directors and key people must verify their identity. This also goes for members of other types of companies like LLPs. Existing companies' directors and key people will have time to verify.

Anyone acting for a company needs to verify too, either directly with Companies House or through approved agents like formation agents or accountants.
