Elder Law

We were shocked to learn of the growing financial abuse of older and vulnerable people - an escalating concern in the legal sector, often hidden behind trust, care, or even family relationships. The elderly increasingly depend on others due to age-related frailty, reduced mobility, or digital exclusion.

As legal professionals, particularly those working in private client services or elder law, we have a crucial responsibility to spot early warning signs and teach others about them. These can range from unusual bank activity to sudden changes to wills.

This is a must-read for practitioners looking to enhance their vigilance and duty of care.
