A new qualification is on the way for post-GCSE students, V-Levels. Set to sit alongside A-Levels and T-Levels, they aim to offer a more practical and flexible route into further education.

These Level 3 vocational qualifications will replace a range of overlapping courses, giving students who prefer hands-on learning a clearer path. They can even be studied alongside A-Levels for extra flexibility.

For teachers, advisors, and parents, this could bridge the gap between academic and technical study. Rollout begins in 2027, so it’s worth exploring what subjects and providers will be available.
