It's Maundy Thursday

​It's Maundy Thursday.

Also known as Holy Thursday or Sheer Thursday, it's celebrated on the Thursday before Easter.

The name is thought to derive from a Latin anthem sung in Roman Catholic churches on that day: "Mandatum novum do vobis" ("a new commandment I give to you"; John 13:34).
